Timber Framing & Insulation Moisture Testing

Documented moisture readings before lining — protecting your build and your liability tail.

NZBC clause E2 requires timber framing to be at or below 18% moisture content before lining. We turn up before your lining trade, take pin readings at marked locations through the build, and issue a signed report that satisfies your council inspector and protects you against future weathertightness claims.

  • Pin moisture meter readings at marked stud locations
  • Insulation moisture verification
  • Thermal imaging of suspect zones
  • PDF report ready for the building inspector

Pin meter readings recorded with photo evidence at each location.

  3. 3. Report

Signed PDF emailed to you and (if you choose) the BCA inspector.
