Right-sized commercial equipment, run by IICRC-aligned technicians and billed for what your job actually needs. Here's what we bring to site and the job each piece does.
Moisture detection & measurement
You can't sign off what you can't measure. Every job is mapped and verified with calibrated instruments.
Pin moisture meter
Two pins read moisture content directly inside timber, plasterboard or flooring.
On your job: The precise reading we sign off framing against — ≤ 18% MC before lining.
Pinless (non-invasive) meter
Scans for moisture through a surface with no pin holes.
On your job: Fast moisture mapping across large areas before we confirm hot spots with a pin meter.
Thermal imaging camera
Shows wet material as cooler areas via evaporative cooling.
On your job: Finds hidden moisture behind walls, under floors and above ceilings — no drilling.
Thermo-hygrometer
Reads air temperature and relative humidity together.
On your job: Tracks the drying environment; we drive the zone below ~50% RH.
Data logger
Records temp and RH automatically at set intervals over days.
On your job: Continuous, tamper-free evidence for your QS, BCA and insurer.
Water extraction
When there's standing or absorbed water, bulk removal comes first — every litre extracted is a litre we don't have to evaporate.
Wet/dry vacuum extractor
Pulls free water from carpets, hard floors and surfaces.
On your job: First on site for small to medium water events.
Submersible pump
Pumps significant standing water to a drain or outside.
On your job: Used before vacuums when water is more than a few centimetres deep.
Truck-mounted extraction
High-volume extraction for large-scale flooding.
On your job: Brought in for major loss on commercial volumes.
Dehumidification
The engine of structural drying — pulling the evaporated moisture back out of the air.
LGR refrigerant dehumidifier
Low-Grain-Refrigerant units condense moisture and return dry, warm air.
On your job: Our workhorse — efficient, high-output drying above ~15°C.
Desiccant dehumidifier
Silica-gel units absorb moisture and work in the cold.
On your job: Canterbury winters: out-performs refrigerant below 15°C and for deep structural drying.
Airflow
Dehumidifiers can only collect moisture that's in the air — air movers put it there by sweeping wet surfaces.
Axial air mover (snail fan)
Directs high-velocity air across wet surfaces to drive evaporation.
On your job: Placed ~1 per 3–4 m of wet wall/floor, typically 3–4 per dehumidifier.
High-volume axial fan
Moves large air volumes through a space.
On your job: Ventilates open commercial volumes and clears stagnant air pockets.
Specialty drying systems
Targeted systems that dry assemblies in place — so we save finishes instead of ripping them out.
Floor drying mat system
Sealed mats force dry air under a floor surface.
On your job: Dries under tile, timber and vinyl without lifting the floor.
Wall cavity (injection) drying
Dry air injected through small holes into the cavity.
On your job: Dries framing and insulation behind plasterboard without full strip-out.
Duct drying system
Delivers dry air through a building's existing ductwork.
On your job: Efficient drying across large commercial buildings.
Heat
Warm air holds and moves more moisture — every ~10°C roughly doubles the evaporation rate.
Portable electric / fan heater
Raises the drying-zone temperature.
On your job: Balanced against dehumidifier capacity to speed evaporation safely.
Indirect-fired diesel/LPG heater
High output with combustion gases vented outside.
On your job: Heats large or unheated spaces — never direct-fired, which adds water and CO indoors.
Safety & documentation
Compliant by default — so our presence on your site is a help, not a hazard or a liability.
RCD safety switches
Cut power instantly on a fault.
On your job: Mandatory for our gear in wet areas — every unit runs through an RCD.
PPE (P2 respirator, gloves, coveralls)
Protects against mould spores, dust and ACM.
On your job: Standard on any water-damage or mould work.
Reporting (Encircle-style logs)
Photo documentation, moisture readings and completion reports.
On your job: The paper trail your BCA, QS and insurer rely on.
